9 Lines is a series of 30 abstract paintings, depicting alternative realities inspired by photographs from everyday life;. From sunsets and skylines to street scenes. The artworks provide an alternative take on the traditional landscape painting, challenging the viewer to contemplate their realities and view the world around them in a new light. They fuse reality and vivid dreamlike colours and shapes.
The horizontal lines which span each painting are multiples of nine, which the artist hopes brings harmony to the viewer.
